No matter your experience (or lack of experience) with singing, if singing brings you joy - or even if you suspect that singing could bring you joy! - there is a place for you here.

... who have never shared their voice with another living soul: welcome!! This is a place where you will be celebrated for showing up and trying, no matter what you sound like. Around here, there are no auditions, no requirements to perform, and no experience necessary. We know it can feel vulnerable and scary to be heard, but you’re not alone - we’ve got your back, and we’ll be cheering you along through every voice crack, wheeze, and flat note, because we’ve been there too, and we know what it’s like. Come hang out - there’s a place for you here!

... welcome!! This is probably a very literal case of singing to the choir - you get it. You know what it’s like to be immersed in an ocean of sound and transported to another dimension. You know what it feels like when the hair stands up on the back of your neck because the harmonies just clicked. You know that when you leave choir rehearsal, 99.999% of the time you will feel better than you did when you arrived. We probably don’t need to explain that music can be a transformational source of joy and connection that provides fuel for your soul. Depending on what kinds of choirs you’ve experienced, here’s what might be different from what you’re used to - Here, we value community care and lifting each other up over competition or ego. We value process over performance. And music is not the outcome we’re aiming for - it’s the vehicle that brings us to the magic. Come hang out - there’s a place for you here!

... the music educators, the song circle leaders, and the songwriters: welcome!! I imagine you may fall into one of two camps. Camp 1: Like with the choir people, what we do at Find Your Song, why we do it, and exactly how fun it is might already be completely obvious to you. If that’s the case, awesome, come on in, we’re glad you’re here! Or, it’s possible you fall into Camp 2: Maybe music used to be a source of joy in your life, but there’s something about doing it for work that has made it a bit less fun. And maybe you miss that. If that’s the case, we’ve been there too, and we’re so glad you’ve found us. Imagine what it might be like to set down the pressure of performance for a few moments. Or to put aside the responsibility of facilitating someone else’s experience. What would it be like to have the freedom to just play with music - as in, to be playful, without it mattering how it lands for anyone else? If this touches something for you, we would love nothing more than to support you to drop back into the magic of music, even if it’s only for a few days or a few hours. You deserve the joy of music, too. Come hang out - there’s a place for you here!
