Come and be part of this intimate East Vancouver Masterclass exploring embodied vocal performance, facilitated by Dawn Pemberton and Erinn Doncaster, with Michael Creber accompanying. A small audience of up to 50 will have the opportunity to witness 6 voice students peel back the layers and deepen their relationship with their instrument, emotions, repertoire, and audience. Whether you're in the audience or on stage, you can expect to leave with inspiration, new knowledge, and practical tools you can apply to your own life.
As part of the audience, you get to be a supportive witness for the six students on stage. Breaking the fourth wall, Dawn and Erinn will be sharing their combined expertise in performance, vocal technique, nervous system based regulation, and somatic practices with the audience and students alike. By witnessing from the audience, you get all of the benefit without having to stand up and perform!
Audience Tickets include:
As a Masterclass student, you will have the opportunity to deepen your embodied connection with yourself, your body, your music, and your audience in your performance of one song of your choice. By working with Dawn and Erinn in front of a live audience, as well as with Erinn and the other students in two online modules, you will come to understand the ways that your nervous system intersects with the way you share your music, and practice concrete tools to navigate toward more present and joyful performing.
Student Tickets include:
Although we would *love* to work with every single one of you, alas, we only have space for 6, so student tickets are by application only.
To let us know you're interested, purchase a free Student Application ticket.
You will be prompted to answer a few application questions at "checkout" (nothing to stress about, just to give us a sense of what you'd like to work on... and to make sure we don't have 6 students singing the same tune!).
If we're able to give you a spot, you will be provided with an access code to purchase a student ticket.
